Welcome to Bali Tour and Activities (BTA). By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to this Terms & Booking Policy.

1. About BTA

BTA is a local Balinese travel company based in Bali, Indonesia.

Our services include:

Private Custom Tours with an English-speaking driver
Curated Tour Packages
Private Transportation, including airport, harbor, hotel, and point-to-point transfers
Third-party activities arranged through trusted local partners, such as rafting, ATV, diving, and similar experiences
Paid Itinerary Optimization consultation services (when available)

By booking with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are booking with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Bookings and Payments

Bookings can be made through our website, email, or WhatsApp.

To confirm a booking, we may require either:

a 50% deposit, or
full payment,

depending on the service booked.

Payments are accepted through PayPal in USD. If prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), they will be converted to USD using the applicable exchange rate at the time of payment.

For transportation-only bookings, guests may choose to pay entrance tickets or activity fees directly at the destination unless otherwise stated.

Any remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of the service.

3. Changes and Cancellations

Guest Cancellation

More than 48 hours before the scheduled service: 50% cancellation fee (50% refund).
Within 48 hours of the scheduled service: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
No-show: No refund.

Changes to Bookings

Changes requested before your service will be accommodated whenever possible and are subject to availability.

Cancellation by BTA

If we must cancel due to circumstances within our control, we will offer one of the following:

an alternative service,
rescheduling, or
a full refund for the affected booking.

4. Private Tours and Transportation

Our private tours include an experienced English-speaking driver.

Unless specifically arranged, our drivers provide transportation and local assistance but do not provide licensed guiding services inside temples, museums, or attractions where licensed guides may be required.

Tour durations follow the agreed booking. Additional hours may incur extra charges.

5. Third-Party Activities

Some activities are operated by independent local partners.

While we carefully select trusted providers, each operator is responsible for its own services, equipment, safety procedures, and operational decisions.

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the activity operator.

6. Itinerary Optimization

Our Itinerary Optimization service provides professional travel planning advice based on local knowledge and experience.

Recommendations are intended to improve travel efficiency but do not guarantee attraction availability, traffic conditions, weather, or reservation confirmation unless separately arranged.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

providing accurate booking information,
arriving on time for scheduled pickups,
carrying valid travel documents,
obtaining appropriate travel insurance if desired,
ensuring they are medically fit for booked activities.

8. Travel Risks and Safety

Travel conditions in Bali can change due to traffic, weather, local ceremonies, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Suggested itineraries and travel times are estimates and may need to be adjusted on the day of your trip.

Participation in tours and activities involves inherent risks. Guests are responsible for following safety instructions provided by drivers and activity operators.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, route changes, or service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

severe weather,
traffic conditions,
natural disasters,
government restrictions,
strikes,
accidents,
ferry or harbor disruptions,
other unforeseen events.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist with alternative arrangements whenever possible.

10. Accuracy of Information

We make every reasonable effort to keep our website accurate and up to date.

Prices, schedules, availability, attraction access, and operating hours may change without prior notice. While we aim to correct inaccuracies promptly, we cannot guarantee that all information is always complete or current.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience.We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, BTA’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, lost business opportunities, or personal expenses resulting from unforeseen disruptions or services provided by independent third-party operators.
